Thanksgiving Project a Big Success!

Thanksgiving Project a Big Success!
176 Baskets Distributed

We want to thank everyone who contributed to the Thanksgiving baskets this year. Because of such generosity we were able to give everyone who signed up (all 176 families) a turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, pumpkin (or other) pie filling, potatoes, onions, carrots, apples, rutabaga, squash, gravy, and a loaf of bread.

We are all fortunate to live in a community that helps our neighbors with such dedication and enthusiasm.

The number of families who received baskets rose from 158 last year to 176 this year.

Watch for this week’s Vermont Standard food shelf column, on Thursday, December 5, for more about the Thanksgiving Project.
