On Saturday May 14 and Monday May 16 the Woodstock Post Office delivered boxes and bags of non-perishable goods to the Woodstock Community Food Shelf. Many of the bags contained cereal, pasta, soup, peanut butter, macaroni and cheese and tuna fish. The grand total was 1145 lbs. Many volunteers helped so the food was checked, weighed, sorted and shelved in record time. Thanks to the postal workers who collected the food and delivered it in two truckloads. A special thank you to the many people of the community who donated.
