Thanks to Windsor County Board of REALTORS

On November 18, the Windsor County Board of REALTORS® held its first food drive as part of its continuing, Helping Our Neighbors Through Community Outreach program. The benefactor for this first collection was the Woodstock Community Food Shelf located in Woodstock, Vermont.

WCBR printed and purchased recyclable grocery bags and distributed them to Real Estate offices throughout Windsor County. On collection day, over fifteen bags, filled with Thanksgiving meal fixings were collected, along with $135 in cash for the purchase of fresh turkeys.

The next WCBR food drive will be held in February 2016 and will benefit the Reading Good Neighbor Food Shelf in Reading, Vermont.
