Woodstock, VT. Those in the know come early for the best selection.

Each year the sale features the best of the best in quality new and used men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, household items, linens and shoes.

Traditionally, Glad Rags’ loyal customers come from all over New England for a day of fun and bargains, with folks often lining up before the sale begins to get the first glimpse at the great deals.

Proceeds benefit community non-profit groups including the Woodstock Food Shelf, Ottaquechee Health Foundation, Woodstock Job Bank, Zack’s Place, Visiting Nurses and others. To date, the group has awarded well over a million dollars in grants to community groups such as these.

Glad Rags depends heavily on donated items to continue its success. Do you have something to donate for the sale? Glad Rags is accepting the following: new or gently worn, clean, damage-free clothing (men’s, women’s, children’s and vintage), linens and household items including small appliances in working order. They cannot accept electronics, books, TVs, large appliances, sporting equipment including helmets or furniture. Donations can be dropped off the week preceding the sale at the Masonic Temple in Woodstock, from 9am to 5pm, Monday-Wednesday, and 9am-12 pm Thursday. All donations are tax deductible.
