Fresh Produce Brightens the Food Shelf

Produce Pick Up by Volunteers

Don Munro, pictured here, is one of three volunteers (the others are Judi Greene and Sheila Murray) who kindly make the trek to Stern’s Quality Produce in White River Junction to insure the food shelf has lots of fresh produce. Some of the staples are onions and potatoes. We’re very fortunate to have these volunteers so dedicated to driving for the food shelf.

Fresh and Local is the Key!

Thanks to Anne Dean, pictured below, for bringing us armloads of gorgeous produce from her garden all season long! She, along with Change the World Kids, and other local gardeners keep the food shelf in mind all summer and fall, and we are very grateful for the bounty they share.
