First Ever Change the World Kids Garden Tea Party

on Saturday, August 27 from 4:00-6:00
Location: Artistree, South Pomfret
and our Food Justice Garden across from Chippers

Food Justice. What is it? Is growing a vegetable garden food justice? Or eating healthy food? Is contributing to a Food Shelf, Food Bank, or organization that works to reduce hunger considered food justice?

On Saturday, August 27 from 4:00-6:00, stop by Artistree to enjoy high tea, music, and bookmaking activities, and learn about the importance of food justice for our community! Tour our Food Justice garden at Artistree, planted with the help of Change the World Kids Rising. Then take a shuttle to our BIG garden across the road from Chippers, where you can learn more about Food Justice and the scope of our efforts in our community. Tea party and gardening costumes are welcome!
